Changes are just a preview; nothing is sent.

In Billchip, saving an updated split would notify the original splitter. This preview does not.

More about how sharing works

GOOD TO KNOW

A few fair
questions.

Still shaping the details. Here's what Billchip is built around.

Does Billchip move money between people?

No. Billchip keeps a record of shared expenses and repayments made outside the app. Your group can settle up however works for you.

Can my group see all of my bank transactions?

No. Imported transactions stay private in Personal Finances. A group only sees an expense after you explicitly send it there.

What does a like mean?

A like means, ‘I agree with this version of the expense and split.’ It records agreement with the current version; it does not record a repayment.

Can someone question a split?

Yes. Members can flag an expense as disputed and add context. The expense stays visible in the group's running balance while you work it out.

FOR THE PLANS YOU MAKE TOGETHER

More time at the table.
Less time doing math.
